Do you clean Wool Carpets?
Yes, wall-to-wall wool carpet has very specific cleaning methods and needs that synthetic carpets do not. At Apex, we specialize in cleaning wool carpets.
What carpet cleaning method does Apex use?
At Apex Carpet Care, we are able to do all five carpet Cleaning methods. For most residential carpet, Apex uses professional truck-mounted hot water extraction. Our complete 12-step process also includes commercial pre-vacuuming, professional preconditioning, agitation, spot treatment, extraction, a neutralizing rinse, grooming, and drying procedures.
How long does carpet take to dry?
Drying time varies depending on carpet construction, humidity, airflow, soil level, and conditions inside the home; however, it is usually 4-8 hours. We use powerful extraction equipment and speed-drying procedures when appropriate to help carpets dry efficiently.
How often should I get my carpets cleaned?
Most carpet manufacturers require cleaning every 12-18 months to keep your warranty in place. You should clean higher traffic areas such as living rooms and kid rooms more often.
Can professional carpet cleaning remove pet urine odor?
Many pet odor problems can be significantly improved or eliminated, but treatment depends on how deeply the contamination has penetrated. Urine may affect the carpet fibers, backing, pad, and sometimes the subfloor. We inspect the affected area and recommend treatment based on what we find.
Do you clean wool, Oriental, and fine area rugs?
Yes. Fine rugs can be brought to our rug-cleaning facility where they are inspected and cleaned using a 12-step process appropriate for the rug’s fibers, dyes, construction, and condition.
